01 · WATER CLEANSING

An integrated spray.
A simple gesture.

A Japanese toilet, also called a shower toilet or wash-and-dry toilet, includes a nozzle that sprays water for intimate cleansing. Start the wash using your equipment’s controls.

Depending on the model, choose the wash type and adjust spray pressure, temperature and position. Start with a gentle setting and adjust gradually to find your comfort.

At Japan WC, our ambition is to introduce a different hygiene routine in France: easy to understand and to bring into your home.

02 · COMFORT YOUR WAY

Useful features.
Settings that suit you.

Equipment varies between models. Check the features listed for your chosen model.

01

Rear and feminine washing

Two wash modes may be available, with spray positioning adapted to the selected use.

02

Water temperature

On equipped models, adjust the washing temperature to your preferred level.

03

Pressure and position

Gradually adjust spray intensity and, where adjustable, nozzle position.

04

Heated seat

A heated seat offers a more comfortable touch, with temperature levels depending on the model.

05

Air drying

Where available, airflow completes the cycle after washing.

06

Controls and automatic functions

Remote control, side controls, automatic opening or flushing: compare the equipment and its operating requirements.

03 · FIRST USE

A few steps to get familiar.

  1. Take a seat. Find the stop button in the manual. Some models detect when the seat is occupied.
  2. Choose a wash. Select an available mode that suits your needs.
  3. Adjust gently. Start with low pressure and a comfortable temperature.
  4. Finish the cycle. Stop washing, then use drying if your model has it.

Your equipment’s manual remains the reference for buttons, settings and precautions for use.

04 · A GOOD HABIT FOR MAINTENANCE TOO

A rinsed nozzle does not replace regular toilet cleaning.

Some models automatically rinse their nozzle. This complements regular cleaning of the bowl, seat and spray nozzle; it does not replace it.

Use the products and method specified in the manual. Avoid abrasives and do not spray water onto electrical components. Follow model-specific instructions for the filter, descaling or manually cleaning the nozzle.

05 · YOUR HOME, YOUR CHOICE

Which Japanese toilet suits your project?

Replace your toilet

Choose a complete floor-standing or wall-hung shower toilet. Compare dimensions, waste outlets and features before selecting a model.

Keep your bowl

An electric bidet seat can fit a compatible bowl. Check the shape, fixings, available space and connections.

The first criterion: installation compatibility.

S-trap: vertical connection towards the floor. For the relevant Japan WC configurations, the outlet centre must be 30 cm from the finished wall. Dojo, Hoshi and Kosen are designed for this configuration only.

P-trap: horizontal connection at the rear of the toilet. Check the height, alignment and connector required against the model’s plan. For wall-hung toilets, also check the support frame and flush compatibility.

Electrical supply and water pressure requirements depend on the equipment. Have your installation checked before ordering.
