Japan WC was born from a desire to share a different approach to everyday comfort.
INSPIRATION WITH EVERYDAY USE IN MIND
Comfort deserves its place.
During a trip to Japan, the founder discovers shower toilets and their comfort features. That experience inspires a desire to make this equipment accessible to homes in France.
Today, Japan WC offers shower toilets, electric bidet seats and bathtubs. Our role is to help you compare models and prepare your project.
The word “Japanese” describes the inspiration, style or use. Products are manufactured outside Japan unless their listing states otherwise.
It all begins on a trip to Japan. In a hotel, the founder discovers a toilet that washes and dries while the user remains comfortably seated. Both the experience and the design leave a lasting impression.
Back home, an idea takes shape: introduce this routine in France and help more people choose a shower toilet for their own home.
Our ambition: sharing a different approach to hygiene.
Japan WC brings together shower toilets, electric bidet seats and Japanese-style bathtubs. We aim to make their operation easy to understand and support each project, from choosing a model to planning installation.
An accessible setting, a shape that suits the room, a finish you love: every use matters. Features vary by model; our product pages and guides help identify those that match your needs.
Japanese toilets and reduced mobility: greater everyday independence.
When turning, bending or performing certain movements becomes difficult, intimate hygiene may require help from a relative or carer. An appropriately chosen shower toilet may help some people with reduced mobility gain independence and preserve privacy.
Easier movements, greater privacy
Water cleansing and, depending on the model, air drying reduce the need for some manual movements after using the toilet. Accessible, easy-to-use controls can also help users manage their own settings. This can make a meaningful daily difference for users and carers alike.
A project tailored to each person
Seat height, transfer space, access to controls and grab rails must suit the person’s abilities and home. An occupational therapist can help identify needs, followed by an installer to check connections and fitting.
The video shows an example installation. Visible accessories and available functions must be checked for each model: they are not always included.
